Coin Strike

★★★★☆ 4.4 Editor rating

Coin Strike is one of those games that looks simple on the store page and then quietly eats a whole lunch break. You flick tokens across a board, line up chain reactions, and clear objectives that get trickier as the boards fill up with obstacles. The core loop is about timing and angle more than speed, which gives it a satisfying, almost puzzle-like rhythm.

Controls are pure touch: drag back to aim, release to launch, and the physics feel consistent enough that you learn to trust them. I tested it across a couple of weeks and the difficulty curve stayed fair — new mechanics like moving walls and bounce pads get introduced one at a time so you never feel ambushed. The themed board sets add a bit of personality, from icy caverns to neon arcades.

What won me over was how readable everything is. You always understand why a shot failed, so every retry feels like your choice to make. It's a great pick-up-and-play title for short sessions, and the later stages reward players who think two moves ahead.
